Our Mission
Senior Services of Boone County (Columbia Senior Activity Center) is a not-for-profit Corporation organized under the laws of the State of Missouri whose purpose is to provide facilities and activities for persons living in the area age 50 or over, and who desire to meet with and interact with persons approximately the same sage, and share the same interests. Its mission is to aid in establishing activities to promote senior citizens in maintaining a lifestyle of independence and personal growth.
In addition the Senior Center offers a nutritional meal program for its participants. No discrimination as to race, color, creed or economic status will be sanctioned. Columbia Senior Activity Center shall support, to the extent its facilities and staff of volunteers will allow, all seniors so that they might enjoy and maintain a full and active life.
